138 Forward Ave, Ottawa, Ontario (Westboro)
This proposed project will consist of 18 residential units in the growing Westboro neighbourhood, located just a few kilometers west of downtown Ottawa, served by Ottawa's modern light rail system and within walking distance of numerous restaurants, stores, grocery stores, specialty sporting goods and rental stores. Drugstores, LCBO, etc.
Our site is located approximately 200 meters north of the Ottawa River Pathway corridor which extends over 11 km along the south shore of the Ottawa River and feeds into over 30 km of the Trans Canada Network pathway which extends from Kanata to downtown Ottawa. The TransCanada Network also connects to Gatineau, Gatineau Park and Chelsea, all accessible via downtown Ottawa and the Ottawa River Pathway. Preferred activities along the various pathway systems include walking, running, cycling, cross-country skiing, hiking, swimming, etc.
This multi-generational project focuses on providing and meeting well-desired community needs, including young adults, young professionals, empty nesters and retirees.
ESG drivers and principles remain at the forefront of this exciting project.
This high quality 4-story building respects the human scale and integration of Westboro. Although currently in the advanced design phases, the building materials, energy performance and envelope must be designed to exceed the national building code.
Once completed, the management of this asset shall aim to achieve a neutral carbon footprint via progressive management initiatives.
